Betty Ngoto-Boll

Hello,

I am Betty Ngoto-Boll. A lawyer by training, I graduated from the Franco-German law program at the Universities of Paris Nanterre and Potsdam and hold an LLM from the University of Potsdam. Building on the excellent results obtained in translation at university (top of my class), I gained initial professional experience in translation during the 5 years I lived in Berlin with major groups such as MAGIX GmbH, Siemens, and Myphotobook. Upon my return to France, I undertook translation assignments in parallel with my training at the Ecole des Avocats du Grand Ouest, notably for Bouygues Energies et Services (translation of 606 pages of electrical pylon construction standards). And in September 2022, I won a tender launched by the Court of Justice of the European Union.

Passionate about the Franco-German sphere, I decided to stop my trainee lawyer program to pursue my passion full-time and on my own. A passion that I also live through my community involvement: I chaired the Board of Directors of the Franco-German bilingual nursery Hansel&Gretel in Nantes in 2022 and currently sit on the Board of Directors of the Franco-German Cultural Center of Nantes and the Franco-German Business Club Nantes Atlantique.

Specializing in the translation of legal and administrative documents (sales contracts, user manuals, expert reports, letters, tax notices, etc.), I also assist you with your dealings with entities located in Germany.

I charge a per-word rate, which I believe is fairer than a per-page rate.
