I successfully completed an engineering degree with a focus on oil and gas well drilling in 1996. During my studies, my strengths were particularly in mathematics and physics, which led to a great interest in working with computers and especially in programming.

In 2001, I participated in a further training course as an "Internet Information Engineer" at the "Oldenburg Research and Development Institute for Computer Science Tools and Systems". The most important course content could be assigned to four areas: Software Engineering, Java Programming, Internet Technology, and Databases. Further focal points were UML, XML, SQL, JDBC, Linux, OOA, Client-Server Architecture, Java Applets and Servlets, JSP, JavaScript, CSS, Flash, Web Design, and Project Management.

After that, I started working as a software developer at a large company in Hanover. I programmed in Delphi and Pascal and gained a lot of experience in database, TCP/IP, and CANBUS programming.

Since the end of 2005, I worked at Froude & Hofmann GmbH as a "Software Developer", developing C++ under Windows with Microsoft Visual Studio.NET. Test stand software for use in the automotive industry. Focus: Mathematical processing and analysis of 3D images.

Since the summer of 2007, I have been working as a software developer at my current company, developing warehouse management software in C++ under both Windows and Linux. Oracle or MSSQL Server is used as the database optionally.
