Context:

Development of an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) framework in Python to automate and orchestrate AWX Jobs and GitLab Projects via GitLab CI/CD pipelines, ensuring complete infrastructure management.

Activities:

• Creation of an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) framework: generation of YAML manifests for infrastructure patterns and GitLab pipelines, to orchestrate VM creation, inventory management, and technical component installation.

• Development of the Roadmap Manager tool: a tool to list technologies used, their current and available versions, to aid in decision-making for upgrades.

• Development of automations: automation of virtual machine (VM) creation, GitLab projects, and Ansible collections for setting up developer workspaces.

• Preparation of a POC: creation of a GitLab project via a Kubernetes CRD with Kopf.

Deliverables:

• Built 900 VMs (Linux, AIX LPAR, Windows)

• Environments (study, acceptance, pre-production, production, etc.)

• Ansible Playbooks, AWX Job Templates, Ansible Collections

• GitLab Library, Python CLI

• Documentation, code review

Technical Environment / Technology:

• Python Stack: Pytest, Mypy, Pylint, Black, Click, Jinja2

• CI/CD & IaC Stack: Ansible, OpenShift, GitLab CI, Nexus, Harbor, Terraform, Sonarqube, Hashicorp Vault, Kaniko, ArgoCd, AWX, Vmarket

• Provide L3 support for the DevOps toolchain, particularly for tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Artifactory, Nexus, and Ansible Tower.

• In-depth analysis of incidents, bug fixing, and development of appropriate patches.

• Develop a web interface to simplify sending communications.

• Migration of Confluence and Jira projects to other instances. Deliverables
