About Yvonne

UX Researcher & Multilingual Facilitator | English · French · German

For the past 6 years, I've helped teams understand their users and make better design decisions — across languages and cultures. This includes work in med-tech, civic tech, government and incubator settings.

With expertise in UX research and facilitation, I work with startups, large corporations, and NGOs to uncover what users really think, feel, and need. Whether it's interviews, usability tests, or co-design workshops, I bring structure and empathy to every session.

What sets me apart: I conduct research and facilitate directly in English, French, and German — no interpreters, no lost nuance. Your participants feel at ease, and your insights stay sharp.
I can help you with:

-User interviews, usability and concept testing, conversation quality analysis, archetype definition.
-Multilingual research across European markets
-Workshop design & facilitation
-Mixed method analysis: qualitative and quantitative methods.
-Synthesizing findings into clear, actionable recommendations.

Ready to bring your users' voices into the room — in whatever language they speak.

New Public's Public Spaces Incubator is an international partnership between 4 public service media (Canada's CBC, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany ) and design agency New_Public. The goal is to develop and scale conversational spaces that are more inclusive, constructive and joyous, catering to millions of cross-market, multilingual audience members.

This role cal ls for a mixed methods approach: Quantitative analysis of online public conversation to understand how much engagement a prototype is triggering. Qualitative analysis of conversations to understand the quality of exchanges. Fol lowing a rubric of prosocial dimensions, I evaluated for how constructive, we ll-formed, factual and pluralistic the online conversations spaces were. Produced insight reports on three topics: 1) conversation quality, 2) AI and human moderation performance, 3) community stewardship. Radio- Canada product owners and editorials teams, along with New_Public product designers drew from these reports to understand which topics worked wel l, which features resonated and the kinds of stewardship model that excel led at supporting positive interactions. Conducted usability testing among francophone populations for prototypes designed to engage people in public online conversations in with the aim of fostering positive, pro-social, pluralistic conversations. Co-wrote the interview questions based on product goals that included 10 participants from CBC- Radio Canada's audience pools. Produced reports aimed at actionable next steps. I summarized and interpreted findings for design, product and engineering teams.
