Projects (selection):

Development of an automated trading system for the intraday electricity market with a focus on algo trading, market making, connection to external and internal trading platforms, technical implementation of risk checks according to regulatory requirements, position management, deal capturing, and automated deal upload to the ETRM system.

The platform was modernized and technically reconfigured – with a focus on performance, scalability, and monitoring.

Architecture and development of an application for marketing flexibilities in the power plant portfolio in intraday electricity trading. The goal was the automated evaluation of optimized operating data and the connection to an internal intraday marketplace for efficient placement of buy and sell orders.

Successes: Economically optimized use of available power plant flexibilities, accelerated decision-making processes, error avoidance, better utilization of economic potential.

Participation in the technical integration and automation of cross-border auction processes in the European electricity market. The focus was on connecting to platforms for day-ahead capacity auctions and electricity auctions, integration into internal systems, and the implementation of the underlying business processes using a workflow engine, including task control, monitoring, and error handling.

Architecture of an IT system for connecting customer technical units to a cloud-based virtual power plant (VPP). Integration of the VPP into internal CAO processes and systems (e.g., for intraday trading, reserve markets, and billing). The goal was the automated control and marketing of flexibilities such as battery storage, CHP plants, and controllable customer loads.
