I am a General Translator but also a Translator and Interpreter in the legal field: Judicial Expert, Sworn Translator at the Court of Appeal of Besançon.
I am also an editor, writer, proofreader, and corrector in Spanish.
I translate legal, technical, commercial, literary texts, and in many other fields.
Graduated in professional translation (2017) from the Catholic University of the West in Angers and Doctor from the University of Sorbonne Nouvelle - Paris II.
My initial training is based in literature and linguistics. I have a range of training courses taken from 1994 to 2021. First, graduated in literature from UCV in Caracas, Venezuela, then I obtained the DEA and the title of Doctor in Hispanic and Latin American Studies at the University of Sorbonne Nouvelle - Paris III (2006). Later, obtaining the Professional Translator diploma in French and Spanish from the Catholic University of the West in Angers (2017), translation formally took its place.
Between 2018 and 2021, my training, provided by the Company of Judicial Experts in Besançon, focused on judicial expertise, including: "The role of the expert translator and interpreter in justice. The right to translation" and "Fundamentals for practicing as an expert translator and interpreter" by Jérémy PIDOUX; "The work of the interpreter in relations with the police, border police and gendarmerie" by the president of the border police; "Migrations, minors, organizations and skills" by Françoise Laferrière; "French - Spanish legal documentation" provided by the SFT; "Organization of expertise. Conduct, practical cases" by Mr. Alain Drapier.
