Yuanyuan Feng

I am a Data Engineer / Analytics Engineer based in France, focused on building reliable ELT pipelines, dbt data models and analytics-ready datasets.

I help teams transform messy multi-source data into clean, tested and documented tables for BI, reporting, operations and ML use cases. My work usually covers API/database ingestion, warehouse modeling, dbt staging and marts, KPI logic, data quality checks, source freshness monitoring and workflow automation.

My main stack includes Python, SQL, dbt, Airflow, BigQuery, AWS S3/Athena, PostgreSQL, DuckDB, Docker and GitHub Actions.

I can support teams that need to:

• build or improve ELT pipelines,

• design dbt models, tests and documentation,

• clean and standardize fragmented datasets,

• create governed KPI marts and dashboard-ready tables,

• add validation, monitoring and CI checks,

• investigate unreliable or inconsistent data workflows.

I have a PhD in Computer Science and a strong background in data modeling, optimization, reproducible workflows and technical teaching. I am especially interested in projects where data quality, reliability and clear business logic matter more than just moving data from one place to another.

I work mainly in English and am available for remote or hybrid freelance missions in France and Europe.
