Dear potential client,

Civil engineer in bioengineering by training, bioinformatician by experience, I define myself as a data scientist in the making. Experienced with Python, Jupyter notebook, SQL, machine learning tools. Possessing an analytical mind, attentive to detail, committed to problem-solving, pedagogical, and motivated by learning new knowledge.

I am looking for challenges where I can fully express my skills. I have developed these in the field of clinical genetics by producing a web application for patient data collection with a visualization module (php, SQL, javascript, plotly), by scripting genetic data analysis pipelines (shell scripts, HPC, NGS) and by developing a framework for predicting pathogenic genetic mutations (Jupiter, Python, machine learning, data visualization).

I am bilingual French/English. My Dutch is improvable.

Passionate about mathematics, philosophy, and nature. I am a promoter of healthy eating through the organic grocery store Kip Eat Naturel, which I co-founded. I practice beekeeping, an activity that fulfills these three passions.
