I was involved as a full stack JS/TS developer, to redo an existing application (management of tasks and users executing them within the company, with a change of design to improve the performance and fluidity of the application,

During this mission I was able to:

- Improve my skills in NestJs, TypeORM and GraphQL.

- Carry out web development, mainly front-end and partially back-end.

- Collaborate in the creation and estimation of backlog tasks.

- Improve code quality.

- Participation in the creation of shared components in the monorepo Core project.

I worked on an administration application for the IT equipment of the BPCE group:

- This web application is used to display data in an intuitive way to facilitate the configuration of each application by the user, then we had a developed back-end service that allows to return on demand - with input criteria - the configuration of an application X.

- I was the only front-end developer on this project, but I participated in the BPCE group's front-end technical meetings to stay aligned with other developed applications.

My role:

- Discuss with the project manager to write specifications before starting development.

- Carry out development within the functional scope - as well as associated unit tests - set during Sprint planning, within deadlines and budgets.

- Provide a quality report on task progress and report any problems and difficulties encountered.

- Monitor builds on Jenkins, create on-demand deliverables (Release), and deploy to the appropriate environment.

- Participate in acceptance and integration testing phases.

- Correct anomalies reported during acceptance, integration, and testing.

Individual assessment:

I discovered the work of total autonomy on a front-end project.

I worked on the Account section of the BPCE web application:

- The application's home page, which contains the balance of its different accounts (current and savings).

- The detail page of a selected account, customer transactions (categorization, detail), and spending statistics per month.

- Tracking of navigation and actions on different pages.

My role:

- Carry out development within the functional scope - as well as associated unit tests - set during Sprint planning, within deadlines and budgets.

- During the backlog grooming phase; ensure that the quality of specifications is sufficient to start development.

- Estimate user stories within a team (Sprint Planning) and respect the team's capacity during the sprint.

- Produce quality code respecting delivery prerequisites (unit test, integration test...) and guidelines.

- Provide a quality report on task progress and report any problems and difficulties encountered.

- Participate in acceptance and integration testing phases.

- Correct anomalies reported during acceptance, integration, and testing.

Individual assessment:

This was a great mission with a great team, I learned more about the banking profession, and I advanced in my career as a developer and consultant.
