Biostatistician in research then mathematics and science teacher, I have been working for myself for 3 years in the pharmaceutical field.
My calling is to make complex fields understandable, so transparency is an essential value for me: I only do what I understand (it seems elementary, though...), I don't leave any team member in the dark, I know how to say I don't know, and my work is based on specialized literature or mathematical reasoning, without preventing me from being proactive. My scientific background gives me a global and multidisciplinary vision, count on me to offer your projects unexpected development perspectives.
I am very comfortable synthesizing and presenting my work in public, in French as well as in English.
I obviously have expertise in the biological field (ecology, physiology —especially neurology—, genetics, cell and molecular biology), an affinity for academic work, but I remain open to other fields (industry, commerce, tourism, ...).
I work on R and I do everything on R:
-access to databases via server/API requests/import;
-conversion of developer databases into tables usable by analysts;
-code optimization (conversion base/dplyr to data.table, loop unrolling, ... profiling and benchmarks) for memory and processor time savings;
-of course my analyst work (data mining, cleaning, visualization, statistical inferences, modeling, supervised classifications, ...), with interpretation and synthesis in the format of your choice (document, conference, video, or even scientific publication);
-making my algorithm available as an API. I provide the developer with the dockerfile so that all my work is installed on your server in 2 lines of commands, so my results are available on your applications in real time.
Let's talk about it!
