Context: DataRiver platform responsible for managing the Kafka cluster centralizing data flows from JCDecaux subsidiaries internationally. Real-time processing of IoT data from thousands of connected advertising screens in over 50 countries, with significant challenges in stability, availability, and monitoring.

Daily administration and monitoring of the Kafka cluster used by JCDecaux international teams

Performance analysis and continuous optimization of the Kafka infrastructure to improve the reliability and responsiveness of flows

Planning and execution of cluster updates in production without service interruption

Design of Kafka applications for real-time monitoring of advertising campaigns displayed on JCDecaux screens

Implementation of control mechanisms and alert event generation in case of broadcast anomalies

Creation and maintenance of Kafka connectors to Amazon S3 for feeding Data Science teams

Incident management and technical support via Zendesk, user support for the platform

Writing technical documentation and contributing to the improvement of operational processes
