My name is Yassmine, I am 27 years old and I work as a freelance audiovisual producer.
Graduated in October 2020 with a Bachelor's degree in Production Management, I had previously studied cinema for 5 years as a young researcher. This was a rich and fascinating training that resulted in the writing of two final theses.
After obtaining my Master's degree in Cinema with a specialization in Archives in 2019, I decided to move into production roles by working for 13 months as a production assistant in the audiovisual department of Disneyland Paris. This was a particularly formative experience that allowed me to gain confidence and take on several responsibilities during the preparation of shoots.
I continued to work for this company on intermittent assignments as a production manager and administrator. Subsequently, I had the opportunity to discover the world of animation by working for Studio Xilam in the post-production department.
In my free time, I practice photography and videography as an amateur. I own an Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark II, a Ronin-SC stabilizer, and a DJI drone. I am also recently teaching myself video editing.
Thanks to the diversity of projects I've had the chance to work on (shoots for shows/parades/press events/interviews/commercials/corporate videos and photo shoots), I've been able to take on various responsibilities and gain autonomy. I learned to coordinate teams, work under pressure, anticipate needs, and manage unforeseen events.
My main tasks include: organizing location scouting; shoot logistics (transport, meals, and accommodation); contacting partners and service providers, supervising teams, initiating contracts, developing shoot-related documents (breakdown, call sheets, technical & artistic lists, scheduling, work plan).
