Within the Data team, I worked on setting up SPVIE's new Big Data infrastructure, called DataHub. The project consists of creating a DeltaLake and automating the ingestion of data from the back office. The goal is to consolidate data from multiple sources into a single deltalake and provide business teams with the means to better leverage data at SPVIE. My role also included maintaining the legacy .NET systems.

Responsibilities:

• Development of orchestration pipelines using Azure Data Factory

• Development of PySpark notebooks using Azure Databricks

• Management of Azure Data infrastructure

• Participation in the design of the new BigData solution architecture

• Monitoring development with the team (technical refinements & code reviews)

• Development of C# fixes to maintain the old Datawarehouse ingestion job

• Ensuring deliveries and deployments for the Datahub project

• Tracking the project backlog

• Leading Scrum ceremonies within the team composed of myself and 2 data engineers in Morocco (sprint planning, poker planning, refinements, daily scrum, retro, …)

The Group's internal Finance department is organized into scaled agile trains (SAFe) composed of 15 teams, each with 6 to 10 people responsible for a functional area or application (Feature Teams), and a component team responsible for delivering technical components (APIs, web clients, devops components, ...) to the Feature Teams. I held the position of senior web and devops consultant within the component team, where I worked on web development as well as devops. I also served as backup Agile Master.

Within Henner's IT department, I worked in a team of 6 people in the benefits department, intervening on a portfolio of applications for managing contracts, reimbursements, and benefits processing. The project was in a phase of evolutionary maintenance and organized in Agile.

Responsibilities:

• Development of C# batch processes to increase processing frequency

• WPF development as part of the "pay-as-you-earn" project

• Implementation of Web services (WCF and Web API) with CPAM for the "remainder to charge 0" project

• Implementation of batch processes and web services for data exchange with LAMAL (Swiss equivalent of CPAM)

• Contribution to the refactoring of a Webforms application to .NET Core 2

• Study, analysis, and POC for the implementation of DevOps, particularly for the use of VS Online (Azure DevOps)
