Bilingual French-English, I have been teaching English and providing academic support throughout my university studies.
In 2017, after completing my Master's in International Relations at the University of Nottingham's Ningbo campus in China, I decided to pursue a career in teaching.
I taught Business English and Academic English (to children and teenagers) for 6 years at Ningbo British International School before returning to France.
Due to my outgoing nature, I enjoy discussing and sharing my knowledge with those around me. As a private tutor, I love helping my students achieve their goals while ensuring they NEVER get bored.
The idea is to learn with pleasure, without thinking about looking at the clock.
My method is as follows:
- First, I assess your English level by asking you a few questions.
- Then, depending on your starting level, I will explain the structure of our sessions, focusing on what is important to know to make good progress (especially irregular verbs, which students generally dislike learning! 🤓).
- The sessions are divided into two parts: a lesson part and an exercise part. If you have difficulty with the exercises, we will go back to the lesson without you even realizing it, and then we will return to the exercises.
- I will prepare revision sheets for you to review between our lessons to help you memorize everything we have learned before the next session.
Throughout my career as a private English tutor, I have never received negative feedback.
I have had the opportunity to work with diverse profiles (middle and high school students with disabilities) who have also succeeded in learning English easily, with joy and good humor.
