Purchasing of equipment, services, and works contracts for the construction of a new vaccine factory

I collaborate closely with Engineering, Project Management, Quality Management and Procurement Management to build as an EPC a complete energy recovery facility. My responsibilities: launch purchase orders for commodities, services, and equipment in cooperation with the Project Team. Develop and maintain Bid packages for bidding processes on all required commodities, in accordance with CNIM Standards and Project requirements. Leads contract negotiations and conform execution of the same. Lead the negotiation of costs, and T&C with Suppliers and Subcontractors based on CNIM standards, and in close cooperation with Project Management and Legal. Receive and review requisitions, examining for correctness and verifying budget availability, in close cooperation with Project Controlling and proper authority for requests. Ensure that Suppliers meet or exceed CNIM quality and project standards, including documentation, workmanship, cost and schedule. Receive and review quotations. Review commercial terms of quotations and prepare analysis of conformity to CNIM standards and provide negotiating strategy recommendations. Prepare quotation overviews and documentation required for clients, if any. Expedite execution of Purchase Orders and ensures timely delivery, including support of logistic activities Support supplier related Quality, Change and Claims Management. Document and report project related purchasing activities to Strategic Procurement Director and Project Management. Participate in procurement and related project meetings. Maintain Project Procurement Plan and consult with Engineering and Project Management on required purchases Research and qualify suppliers in accordance with CNIM procedures and guide lines. Monitor supply chain and supplier performance; while maintaining constant communication with suppliers to identify process, product and service improvement opportunities; seek, document and realize cost savings and cost avoidance opportunities.
