WeGrow is a company founded in 2018 that now has over 30,000 users in 65 countries. Its revenue in 2024 amounts to 5 million euros and it employs over 60 people.

Its objective is to identify and highlight best practices within international companies that operate in silos. To achieve this, it has developed SAAS software powered by Artificial Intelligence.

The team consisted of:

- 1 project manager

- 1 Staff Engineer

- 7 developers (backend - frontend)

As a Java Angular developer, I carried out the following tasks while respecting Agile principles:

- Java, Spring Boot, Angular, SQL development

- Design and optimization of a robust and reliable back-end API

- Redesign and optimization of a search API and user permission system for faster and more scalable processing

- Development of graphical components respecting a design system, and creation of responsive forms

- Development of automated batches for sending personalized emails on a large scale

- AI: Creation of a scoring tool to match similar content, optimizing the relevance of recommendations

- AI: Development of an AI assistant allowing users to ask questions and get precise answers from customer database data

Questel operates in the Intellectual Property sector. The company has a presence in 30 countries worldwide (Paris, Tokyo, Shanghai, Munich, USA, India, Japan) and manages a database of 120 million patents from 110 patent issuing authorities. This includes integrated solutions for patent search, analysis, and management. In 2024, Questel generated a revenue of 46 million dollars.

During my assignment, I worked on a data transformation batch process within an ETL (Extract Transform Load). The goal of the assignment was to synchronize patent information from different sources (creation/modification/acceptance or rejection) and record it in a database with updated information.

As a backend developer, my tasks included:

- Optimizing processing times for Java batches transforming large volumes of data from multiple databases

- Creating Java endpoints that query tables of several GB within a reasonable time

- Ensuring the reliability of processes with Java unit tests

Air France is a French aeronautics company employing 76,000 people worldwide with a revenue of 26 billion euros.

I worked in the Cargo department as a Big Data developer. My objective was to centralize several data streams within a Data Lake.

The team consisted of:

- 1 project manager

- 1 senior developer

- 2 other Big Data developers

- 2 product owners

As a backend developer, I performed the following tasks:

- Data ingestion from various sources (XML, Kafka, etc...)

- Development of a Python script to verify the accuracy of the created model, saving the team 90% of the previous time

- Frequent communication with AMOs
