Xavier Lavayssière

🇬🇧 Xavier Lavayssière assists central banks, international organizations, and companies in addressing technological, political, and regulatory issues of digital finance.

A graduate in Public Law of the Economy from Paris Panthéon-Assas and in Mathematics and Computer Science from Lyon 1, he has worked and published on crypto-assets, blockchains, payment systems, and financial markets infrastructures. Since 2016, Mr Lavayssière has been developing consulting, professional training, and technical projects.

He has contributed to several reports and research works on related issues, such as Central Bank Digital Currencies Digital, Tokenization of Financial Instruments, and the Regulation of the use of stablecoins in payment. Xavier is also a lecturer at Université Paris Panthéon Sorbonne and the president of the "Les Bricodeurs" association.

Mr. Lavayssière has contributed to several reports and research works on the strategic and legal issues of crypto-assets, blockchains, payment infrastructures and financial markets. In particular:

- Central bank digital currencies (published by the blockchain chair of Polytechnique and the International Monetary Fund)

- The tokenization of financial instruments (published by the High Legal Committee for the Paris Financial Center)

- The regulation of the use of stablecoins in payment (published in the Revue d'Économie Financière)

Xavier is also president of the association "Les Bricodeurs" which brings together developers and digital entrepreneurs.
