I've been a full-time software developer since ~2018 and have been enthusiastic about web applications from the start.
In my projects, I've encountered React, Vue, and Angular on the frontend and have decided that I like React/Vue the best. On the backend, I've gained experience with Java (Spring Boot), Python, Node.js, Go, and some Scala. I've realized that the JVM isn't for me 😁 I quite like Node.js, Go, and Python 👍
In projects/teams, quality and an open error culture are important to me. Code reviews are indispensable from my perspective, and the SCRUM process has proven its worth for good reason.
Here are a few thoughts that describe my attitude:
The only "pattern" I can 100% endorse is KISS. "Premature optimization is the root of all evil" and other sayings come to mind.
Untested code is legacy code - conversely, there are many developers who directly produce legacy code.
