Description of my missions and role :

- I was in charge of the purchasing packaging solutions for Europe (Textiles and steel). Internal purpose and for our customers (Renault, Mercedes, PSA, Jaguar...)

- Responsible of bringing on the table a worldwide contracts for maintenance, new purchases and spare parts for our Robots lines equipment ( 1 year of brainstorming with the European purchasing department)

- Negotiation price, delivery and payment terms in line with the budget target

- Contract negotiation and execution

- RFI /RFP /RFQ

- Lead sourcing decisions

- Legal activity and administrative work

- My major achievement on top of my daily activities of purchasing, was to create from scratch a complete strategy for my commodity, meaning having a logical way to purchase the racks, maintain them and sell well when they were out of use. It took me more than 8 months to have this brainstorming with all the services involved in the process (Supply chain, Purchasing, Operation teams of the plants, management). When I left the company, they were in phase to implement it for our plants in Europe.

When my contract was over with my previous company, I decided to join Veolia Water technologies with a VIE mission for a project located in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

In the first 6 months, I have been hired as Project buyer with the Procurement department in the Suez headquarters located in La Défense, Paris before starting my VIE on site.

In this period, our missions were to insure 80% of purchasing from Europe (200M€ of spend divided between 3 buyers), my accomplishment are follow :

- Weekly Meeting with the engineers, civil engineering, planning, expediting teams in order to move forward together and with the team already on site.

- I leaded many RFQ from the technical discussions with the specification to the signature of the contract

- I managed the call for tenders for the following items : Valves, Electricity package, instrumentation, tanks, fans package, pumps, sand, chemicals.

- I have been in China with the head of the purchasing of Veolia VWT to assist at the negotiation/signature of the contract with XINGXING company for about 50M€ for the Iron pipping.

- My major achievement on this project has been to take the lead on the expediting from Shanghai harbour to Dhaka harbour and manage the call for tenders for all the process (Forwarder choice, unloading process ...) The total cost for all the operation have been around 600K€

After this experience of 6 months, I should be going on site and taking over all the procurement with regional and local scope. Unfortunately, Veolia decided to leave the project for some financial reasons.

Budget : 15M€

• Supervised strategic procurement for eight projects.

• Developed a supplier portal to enhance traceability.

• Reduced internal order validation time between engineering and procurement departments.

• Make sure the goods ordered are well develired on our projects sites
