Viviane Bucher

I have been working as a freelance Illustrator in Alsace since 2019.

I am constantly refining my techniques and experimenting with new ones.

I started in the world of illustration in February 2019, with the illustration of a first children's novel ("La Prophétie d'Emilien" Volumes 2 and 3 by Alix Grabel) and a second children's novel ("Max et le mystère du lac souterrain" by Greg Lauert), all three published by Editions NLA Créations.

In Autumn 2022, I illustrated Christine Fischbach's novel "Le Secret de l'Or Noir", a children's novel about the History of Oil in Alsace, also published by Editions NLA Créations.

I also have a background in interior architecture training, as well as internships completed in an architecture firm to validate my degree in 2012.

From January 2022 to April 2023, I worked as a Drafter-Designer in Project Management (Harrault Construction Management in Strasbourg); in this capacity, I can produce plan files for Building Permit applications: private homes, small public access buildings.

For illustration: I work in a rather classic way, with pencil, ink, watercolors, Photoshop...

For architecture: Autocad, Sketchup, others if necessary...

I work from home, but it is possible, if absolutely necessary, to meet to finalize the details of a specific or more complex order.

It is important for me to have a relationship of trust, so I am an open and communicative person; exchanges throughout a project are essential, it is important to express what is "hindering" progress in order to move forward. Respect in all aspects is also my leitmotif, in relationships, events, pace... So that the outcome is a win-win.
