My name is Vinith Kowrithasan, and I am a bioinformatician and software developer with a strong background in both computational science and practical tool development. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Biology from TU Dortmund and I am completing my Master’s degree in Applied Bioinformatics at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz.

Throughout my studies and professional experiences, I have consistently worked at the intersection of biology, chemistry, and data science. At OQEMA AG, for instance, I was part of the Business Intelligence team, where I optimized SAP functions, managed databases, and implemented VBA automation scripts that increased overall efficiency by 30%.
