I'm Vincenzo Montefusco, founder of Deep Moiré (deepmoire.com), an independent practice specialized in interactive georeferenced maps and map-based platforms. I design and build high-end interactive maps, geospatial dashboards and data-driven web applications end to end: from raw spatial data to polished, production-ready products.

Over 15 years and 150+ completed projects, I help companies, startups, research teams and public organizations turn complex geographic data into clear, fast and engaging digital products. I also work as a white-label geospatial partner for design and digital studios that need custom mapping they don't build in-house, staying behind their brand while delivering the geo layer of their projects.

I own the full workflow behind a geospatial product: understanding the data, defining the structure, designing the UX/UI, building the interface in Mapbox GL JS, D3.js, Turf.js, MapLibre and deck.gl, and integrating the APIs, databases and pipelines needed to take it to production. This end-to-end approach matters most when a project goes beyond a standard web map, complex datasets, custom interactions, performance requirements, or the need for both technical accuracy and visual clarity. I've delivered it across real estate, tourism, culture, research, climate and urban analysis.

I design and build the whole pipeline end to end — data collection and processing, database integration, UX/UI, custom cartography and responsive design across devices — turning complex datasets into interactive maps, live infographics and data-driven storytelling that organizations use to explore, understand and communicate their data.

I work both directly with clients and as a white-label geospatial partner for studios and agencies that need custom mapping they don't build in-house. Over the years I've delivered projects across energy & sustainability, real estate, education & research, transportation, and masterplanning & urban analysis. Three years at Arup's Milan office as a computational engineer, working across the façade, architecture, structures and masterplanning teams on computational and parametric design and data-visualization development. I worked in close coordination with other Arup offices, particularly Amsterdam and London. Among the projects I contributed to: the Camp Nou in Barcelona, the Sagrada Família, and the new Fiorentina stadium in Italy, plus several masterplanning and territorial development studies across Italy.
