- BPCE SIWeb DeveloperBANKING AND INSURANCEJanuary 2025 - March 2026 (1 year and 2 months)Aix-en-Provence, FranceAs part of the Phoenix project at BPCE SI, I participated in the web redesign of the Pacbase data dictionary to offer a modern interface while preserving an experience close to the historical tool to facilitate user transition.I started as the sole developer alongside a project manager and a product manager, before the team expanded with a junior developer and a developer for Pacbase to MySQL migration scripts.Upon my arrival, I took over a technical foundation based on PHP (Restler) and Javascript (JsViews). I conducted an audit of the application, highlighting security flaws (SQL injection), design issues (non-compliance with the single responsibility principle), limitations related to the Restler framework, and inappropriate use of JsViews in a SPA context.Following this assessment, I proposed a frontend redesign to properly utilize JsViews as a SPA, as well as a backend migration to Symfony, which is more robust and maintained. These proposals were presented and justified to the team. Then, in order to ensure the long-term sustainability of the stack and alignment with BPCE SI group standards, I initiated and led the migration of the frontend to Angular, a decision approved by the department head.Regarding the backend migration to Symfony, I implemented a progressive migration strategy with cohabitation of the two frameworks, allowing for a smooth transition without interrupting development. The complete migration was carried out in three months, followed by the removal of Restler after validation.I also improved the overall architecture (Controller, Services, DTO, Repository) and mentored the junior developer on best practices.
- SonergiaWeb DeveloperENERGY AND UTILITIESJuly 2021 - October 2024 (3 years and 4 months)Marseille, FranceAt Sonergia, I participated in the development and maintenance of the Orphéo web application, a tool for energy renovation professionals. From the beginning of the mission, I quickly mastered React after a short one-month skills transfer. By the end of the mission, I had become the React referent, assisting other team members with complex technical issues. The mission was primarily Frontend-oriented (80%) with a Backend development component (20%). I also worked on the Concerto project, notably ensuring the synchronization of incentive formulas and work costs with the CSTB via Backend API routes. As part of Concerto, I conducted a code audit performed by an external service provider to verify quality and adherence to best practices. This project allowed me to use Symfony 6 and discover API Platform.Following the Concerto project, I was tasked with designing and developing an administration tool for the Incentive Formulas and Work Costs, handling both Frontend and Backend development. This mission provided me with the opportunity to work in an environment that values best practices, including code reviews, unit tests (Jest for Frontend and PHPUnit for Backend), and adherence to PSR-12 standards. I also had the chance to become familiar with the Domain-Driven Design (DDD) model for robust and scalable software architecture. Projects were encapsulated in Docker environments, ensuring smooth continuous integration.
- IMBEWeb DeveloperRESEARCHMarch 2021 - May 2021 (2 months)Marseille, FranceModification of the GestSup ticket management tool to integrate a request management module. Each GestSup user can create a mission order or purchase order request.A defined user group has the role of validator. A validator reviews the mission order or purchase order information and decides to accept, reject, or request modifications. If a request is accepted, it is automatically transformed into a ticket in GestSup.The GestSup tool was developed without MVC structure or object-oriented model, so I had to architect the project to meet modern development standards. At the end of the mission, I performed a skills transfer and wrote technical documentation.
