My work aimed to study and, if possible, integrate a solution into the robot developed by Stanley Robotics that would allow it to move autonomously, taking into account its known environment (planned static obstacles) and unknown environment (unforeseen static and dynamic obstacles). All of this had to be integrated into the work environment, which includes the ROS framework. As such, I studied, configured, and tested the Timed Elastic Band trajectory planner. Additionally, I developed a solution using the costmap layering mechanism to reduce wear on the parking lot floor.
