Vincent Boyer

As part of the research and development of innovative buildings for poultry, pig, and rabbit farming, I contribute to the design and continuous improvement of products within Cabigroup's engineering department.

Specific efforts are focused on ergonomics, animal welfare, and adapting work practices to ecological and climatic challenges. For example, I participated in the design of several types of mobile farming buildings to reduce the impact of animals on the soil. Such solutions are integrated into versatile agricultural projects that establish symbiosis between livestock farming and agriculture as a basis of operation.

These mobile structures must be lightweight and adaptable to different types of terrain and weather conditions. Structural and numerical studies are effective tools for meeting these specific requirements and "tailor-made" needs.

Copeaux Locaux is a local and responsible manufacturing workshop for everyday objects. The company promotes the development of small regional manufacturing industries. The design is focused on increased durability, while also incorporating local materials and the possibility of repair. From custom-made to small series production, Copeaux Locaux is equipped with modular traditional machines for woodworking and metalworking. The engineering department also offers project support for industrial or private clients, from design to prototyping. Our design and calculation skills will address dimensioning and technical feasibility issues.

Development and operational implementation of the first branch of Eco-Industrie Locale (EIL). EIL is part of a movement to re-localize the manufacturing of durable and indefinitely repairable objects. By leveraging a complete chain of skills (design, prototyping, and industrialization), the team redefines local anchoring and proposes a short-circuit model applied to manufacturing. A sustainable, human industrial alternative, in complete opposition to planned obsolescence, is being built in the Occitanie region.
