About Vincent

Naturally self-taught, I started web development at 14 (I'm 27 now) and quickly found pleasure and passion in this field. The ability to materialize an idea into a concrete/real project is an endless source of challenge. The only limit for a developer is their imagination.

I started in front-end by creating static sites with HTML4 (yes, HTML5 didn't exist back then). I was quickly confronted with the limitations of a static site, which naturally led me to Back-end development with PHP. I thus became a Full-stack developer! With a clear preference for back-end, however.

My flagship technologies: Salesforce, PHP, Symfony, Javascript, Jquery, HTML5, CSS3

    September 2017 - March 2018 (6 months)
    Paris, France
Salesforce Back-end Development (Javascript / Demandware), Maintenance & new features. I worked on Givenchy (US, EU, ASIA, FR).

I was in charge of implementing payment methods: Paypal (Express Checkout), Sofort, Ideal, Klarna, as well as bank cards (Visa, Mastercard, and American Express) coupled with the Cybersource solution (Version 17.2).

I was the very first developer to integrate this version of Cybersource, and there were two challenges:
    - Migration from version 17.1 to 17.2
    - The version was in beta, so I helped fix many bugs in the solution's source code.

I also did a lot of maintenance / evolutionary and corrective maintenance on the Givenchy site.

Salesforce Back-end Development (Javascript / Demandware), Maintenance & new features. I worked on the Pierre Fabre website (Korean).

Sample withdrawal in store. I developed a feature allowing a customer to select a physical store from the website, request a free sample. The customer then receives a validation SMS with the information. Validation by a salesperson that the sample has been given. They can then download a discount coupon for the product concerned (sample).

I also did a lot of maintenance / evolutionary and corrective maintenance.

Education

  • BAC + 4 Web Designer Developer
    Ief2i
    2014
