I am a software developer with strong infrastructure expertise. I build applications and the platforms they run on, and this combination makes all the difference: code that understands where it lands, and infrastructure built by someone who develops themselves.

Software development

Python is my preferred language (Django, FastAPI); I also work with Go, TypeScript, and JavaScript. I also publish open-source packages on PyPI.

Kubernetes & platform engineering

I make Kubernetes environments production-ready: RBAC and governance, GitOps workflows, provisioning with Terraform and Ansible, and observability with Prometheus, Grafana, Thanos, and OpenTelemetry. For a scale-up in Utrecht, I built an observability platform across multiple clusters; before the installation, production failures went unnoticed.

What I'm looking for

Project-based assignments that I can complete and hand over, preferably remote and with flexible working hours. Both software development and Kubernetes work, and ideally assignments that combine both: building an application and ensuring it runs well. Handover and documentation are part of the job.
