About Victor

Holder of a Master's degree in Modeling and Mathematical Methods in Economics and Finance from the University Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne in partnership with the École Nationale Supérieure de Techniques Avancées (ENSTA), obtained with honors, as well as a Master's degree in Mathematics and Applications from the University Pierre and Marie Curie (Paris VI), I also hold a double Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Saint Petersburg State University and UPMC.

Specializing in market finance and financial mathematics, I have acquired solid experience in development and quantitative modeling through my 13 years of experience in leading financial institutions, notably Société Générale and Crédit Agricole. I have had the opportunity to work on complex projects in the United States, Europe, and other international markets, allowing me to refine my understanding of global financial systems and region-specific regulations.

During my career, I have worked in demanding environments known for their high-level technical teams, where I contributed to the design and development of robust solutions for pricing, risk management, trading algorithm optimization, and financial process automation.

Today, I put my international expertise and mastery of advanced technologies at your disposal. As this is my first time on this platform, I offer you an excellent quality/price ratio to guarantee a service that meets your expectations.

Python Developer – Design and implementation of a risk management system (Risk Gate) connected to the broker API.
    August 2025 - August 2025
As part of this mission, I designed and developed a comprehensive risk management tool for professional trading environments, called Ganymede Risk Gate. The objective was to secure daily trading activity by automating PnL monitoring and triggering protection mechanisms in case of losses exceeding certain thresholds.

    The work consisted of:

    • Developing a robust connector to the Ironbeam API, enabling secure authentication and retrieval of all account information.

    • Implementing real-time reading of the overall PnL (realized and unrealized), with tolerance for different data formats provided by the API.
    • Setting up an automatic closing function for all open positions when a defined loss threshold is reached.

    • Defining a temporary trading pause mechanism after crossing intermediate thresholds, with automatic resumption after the scheduled duration.
    • Managing complete logging of all actions (timestamped logs: loss detection, closures, locking/unlocking).

    • Creating JSON configuration files (config, baseline, lock) to ensure simple and modular parameterization.
    • Developing the code in a modular and extensible format (abstract class BrokerAPI, Ironbeam adapter, CLI scripts) to allow for future enhancements such as multi-broker, multi-account management, and a future web version.

Tests were conducted in real conditions on the Ironbeam environment, validating the system's robustness against API fluctuations and confirming the code's security thanks to a default DRY-RUN mode (no orders sent without explicit activation).

This mission took place in an excellent climate of trust and collaboration, with an available and responsive client, allowing for the timely finalization of deliverables. This project now forms a solid foundation for the next steps (extension to other brokers, advanced supervision, web interface).
