About Veronika

I help companies fix how their processes and internal systems actually work.
Most companies already know where it hurts - an approval that takes a week, a quarter of the work living in one person's Excel sheet, a system everyone quietly works around. What's usually missing is the time and the outside perspective to untangle it. That's where I come in.
I'm not a developer and I won't sell you a tool. I start by understanding how the work really happens, find where the process breaks, and redesign it so it holds up - and only then bring in the system to scale it. Because automating a broken process just makes it fail faster.
What I do:
• Process analysis, mapping and redesign (As-Is → To-Be)
• Business & systems requirements, functional specifications
• Vendor and system evaluation, business case & ROI
• UAT, rollout and user adoption
Where I come from:
Seven years in fast-growing e-commerce (procurement, supply chain, operations), owning the business side of internal systems used by 80+ people and working across procurement, finance, IT, logistics and legal. A few concrete results: invoice approvals cut from ~1 week to 24 hours; goods-receipt processing from ~14 days to ~3; and a replenishment-system evaluation for a 600+ store retail group.
If you have a process that drags, a system people work around, or a change that never quite landed - let's talk.

I help companies improve how their operational processes and internal systems work in practice - connecting business, IT and end users, and making sure all sides genuinely understand each other.
    • Leading a replenishment evaluation for a retail group of 600+ stores and 4 distribution centres - discovery, current-process mapping, business requirements, vendor comparison (LOGIO, LEAFIO, RELEX) and the business case and ROI behind the decision.
    • Designing the automation of energy-invoice handling and improving cross-store and cross-DC processes.

Focus: process design & improvement · business & systems analysis · requirements · vendor & system evaluation.

The role that describes me best professionally. Not a developer, not a Product Owner, not a Scrum Master - the person between business and IT, who understood the business well enough to shape how the systems should work.
As the main contact across Procurement, Finance, Legal, IT, product owners and developers, I:
    • Analysed current processes, found the weak points and designed new workflows.
    • Gathered requirements, prioritized changes and prepared clear briefs for development.
    • Owned the business side of the internal P2P platform (80+ users), proposing the roadmap with a team of ~7 developers.
    • Ran UAT, and onboarded and trained users as they joined, supporting adoption through every change.
    • Handled incidents and monitored how systems performed in real operations.
    Selected results:
    • Redesigned 3-way match logic (invoice-first → receipt-first), cutting goods-receipt processing from ~14 days to ~3.
    • Co-designed a new invoice approval workflow - analysed the old process, defined the rules and exceptions, worked with developers and trained users - cutting problem-invoice approval from ~1 week to 24 hours.
    • Represented Procurement on a Legal-owned CLM rollout, designing the contract process from the procurement side - recognized as an important input to the final solution.
    • Shaped the business side of EDI and Ringil integrations - defining what data was needed and how it should flow between systems.

Grew from operational purchasing into forecasting, category growth and supplier strategy. Managed a fragrance portfolio with €50M+ annual turnover, including cooperation with a key international supplier (Coty).
    • Ensured availability across multiple markets without stock-outs; forecasted demand and aligned stock with campaigns and seasonality.
    • Managed supplier negotiations, pricing and commercial conditions; handled claims and escalations.
    • Launched a new cosmetics category and set up cooperation with official distributors.
This is where I started thinking in processes - not just what to order, but why some things were harder than they needed to be.
