Development of a generic methodology for non-planar 3D crack propagation, applicable to different types of aeronautical structures. Use of Zcracks (Z-set suite) coupled with Abaqus for crack propagation analysis on complex 3D FE models. Mesh sensitivity studies, numerical convergence, and parametric analyses. Modeling of complex contacts and representative industrial cases (e.g., cockpit frame). Application of LEFM concepts and advanced fracture criteria. Comparison with existing industrial methods (ISAMI) to reduce conservatism in service life / propagation durations and improve structural optimizations. Advanced post-processing of results via Python. Work in almost complete autonomy, with technical validation by an Airbus referent. Drafting of methodological documentation for future certification. Preparation of an official presentation of the work to Airbus R&T managers.
