Senior Product Designer / Consultant Design System & AI — WeWard

During a 6-month assignment at WeWard, a gamified mobile application that rewards users for their physical activity and walking, I supported the Product, Design, and Front-end teams on several strategic topics related to Product Design, Design Systems, AI, and gamification.

This assignment was carried out within an international team in English, requiring daily exchanges with Product Managers, developers, and designers in a fully remote and collaborative environment.

My main responsibilities:

- Challenging and exploring workflows related to artificial intelligence directly connected to Figma and Design Systems

- Rethinking and restructuring part of the Design System to improve its scalability, consistency, and future compatibility with AI workflows (Claude+Bridge)

- Bringing new organization and processes around Product Design and component management

- Designing new screens, user journeys, and product features

- Participating in the simplification of the user experience and the improvement of key journeys

- Providing strategic recommendations on gamification, engagement, onboarding, retention, and reward systems

- Collaborating closely with PMs and developers through user tests, A/B tests, and data-driven iterations

- Preparing the product ecosystem for future synchronization between Figma components, AI generation, and front-end implementation

This assignment combined product execution, UX strategy, gamification, Design System thinking, and exploration of new AI workflows applied to a large-scale product.

Creation of a purchasing kiosk and a mobile application for in-store sales staff

As a freelance UX Designer, I collaborated with Cultura, a leader in France for selling books and supplies. My mission, focused on UX Design, was to create an optimal user experience for a new self-checkout kiosk and to improve the mobile applications for in-store sales staff.

Cultura wanted to improve the efficiency of its purchasing processes and reduce checkout times. I designed intuitive and smooth self-checkout kiosks, allowing customers to purchase quickly without going through the checkout. I also improved the mobile applications to integrate seamlessly with the kiosks, offering a frictionless purchasing experience.

To achieve these goals, I conducted in-depth UX research. By putting myself in the shoes of Cultura's customers, I carried out interviews and user testing. I analyzed purchasing journeys, identified friction points, and proposed adapted solutions. I created wireframes and interactive prototypes to test and visualize the new interfaces, ensuring an intuitive and pleasant shopping experience.

My UX Design expertise brought significant improvements to the shopping experience at Cultura. The self-checkout kiosks accelerated the purchasing process, reducing checkout queues. The updated mobile applications allowed customers to purchase directly from in-store sales staff, offering a smoother and more personalized shopping experience.

As a UX Designer, I am proud of this project. It demonstrates the importance of UX Design in developing user-oriented technologies. My work with Cultura improved customer satisfaction and showed how UX Design can transform purchasing processes.

Octopia - CDiscount engaged my services as a Product Designer for the complete redesign of its application range. As Lead Product Designer / UX Designer, I led two key projects:

Catalog Backoffice: I carried out a global redesign of the UX and UI design for a product managing Cdiscount's 5 million products, including categories, properties, variants, and products themselves. The user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) are based on the cross-functional Octopia design system.

Shopify Dropshipping Plugin: As Lead Product Designer, I managed the design of the new Octopia Shopify plugin dedicated to dropshipping with Cdiscount.

Additionally, I also created all the illustrations for the Octopia Cdiscount websites and applications.
