About Umi

Hello!

My name is Umi, I am Franco-Japanese and I have been working in video games for over 3 years, notably as a 2D animator. My latest project to date is the indie game "Koira" (Belgian Game of the Year 2025) where I was Lead Animator for the Belgian studio Studio Tolima, entirely remotely.

I enjoy working on ambitious and original games, where I learn from my colleagues and explore different animation techniques to constantly evolve. Whether it's frame-by-frame animation, puppet animation, or a mix of both, I adapt to the needs of the projects and to different game engines. I am looking for a team that communicates well, with a good work-life balance and, I hope, who is friendly!
