As aFull-Stack Developeron theNimaproject, I participated in the design and development of a web and mobile application dedicated to facilitating the adoption of shelter animals in France. This project allowed me to build a complete solution based on a modern microservices architecture, from technical design to containerized deployment.

My Missions:

Multi-Platform Development:
User Interface Creation: Designing an intuitive UI with React (Material UI) for web and React Native/Expo for mobile, offering a fluid "swipe" experience inspired by matching applications.
Key Features: Integration of a swipe matching system (like/dislike), user profile management, compatibility questionnaire (MCQ), and messaging between adopters and shelters.

Microservices Back-End Architecture:
API Gateway & Microservices: Setting up a distributed NestJS architecture with 6 specialized microservices (auth, swipe, messages, forms, scrapper) communicating via the NATS message broker.
Database & ORM: Designing the MySQL relational schema with TypeORM (User, Animal, Shelter, Swipe entities) and shared libraries (@nima/database, @nima/contracts) to ensure data consistency.
Secure Authentication: Implementing a complete JWT system with refresh tokens and OAuth Google integration.

DevOps & Deployment:
Containerization: Orchestrating the entire infrastructure via Docker Compose (7+ services) with dependency management, health checks, and shared volumes.
Monorepo & CI: Monorepo architecture with PNPM Workspaces enabling code sharing between services and optimized dependency management.
