Fullstack Developer – Web Application for the Paris Olympics

Project: Development of a web application deployed on the prefecture's servers for the Paris Olympic Games.

Description: I designed and developed a complex web application for managing and visualizing data for the Paris Olympic Games. This project was deployed on secure prefecture servers, using virtual machines (VMs) under Debian Linux.

Technologies used:

Back-end: Symfony for a robust and maintainable architecture.

Front-end: HTML, CSS, JavaScript for a dynamic and responsive user interface.

Mapping: Leaflet for integrating and managing interactive maps.

Database: PostgreSQL coupled with PostGIS for efficient spatial data management.

Environment: Debian Linux servers, deployment via VM, continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) to ensure fast and reliable delivery of updates.

Results: The application was successfully put into production, ensuring optimal performance and reliability for the critical needs of the Olympic Games.

Analysis of client needs

Creation of the site using HTML, CSS, and Javascript

Development and integration of interactive features such as online quote request forms and real-time shipment tracking.

Development of a geolocation application prototype to determine the location of students enrolled at ENC.

Data collection and deployment (PostgreSQL)

Graphical display of student location data interacting with an API that estimates travel time.
