Tom Granier

Born in Castres in the Tarn region, I quickly became passionate about architecture.

First as a young teenager through my drawings under the watchful eye of my father, an industrial designer by training. I learned perspective, volumes, vanishing points by drawing my own house or those seen on trips. Later, I developed this by venturing into 3D modeling, again of the buildings around me, that I encounter daily and that I inhabit as much as these buildings inhabit me.

As I grew, photography became more and more a part of my life until it became my favorite medium, the one that allows me to convey what I see.

After high school, I naturally opted for a BTS (Higher National Diploma) in photography, from which I graduated as the top of my class. There, I learned the pure technique, the complexity of photographing a building with its perspectives, its sometimes immense height. This was followed by a degree in photography which allowed me to put technique at the service of my photographic eye.

Equipped with a specialized camera for architectural photography, I now roam Paris and its classic and modern architecture, making it my new playground. But without forgetting my native South, which I visit regularly, making sure to highlight it, where it all began.
