Since 2007, I have been developing web applications. Initially as a Software Engineer with a focus on backend, later as an employed IT consultant, and now as a freelance Senior Software Engineer or Software Architect.
Since software is merely a tool to generate added value for a company, my focus, alongside performant, maintainable, and secure code, is always on business value: Building the right thing the right way – ideally iteratively and incrementally, and through early stakeholder feedback.
For this, I primarily use the methodologies, programming languages, frameworks, technologies, and tools presented on this website – but I am always ready and able to quickly learn new things.
In addition to delivering software artifacts, coaching developers is a central aspect of my work. My coaching focus is on the areas of Clean Architecture, Clean Code, Refactoring & Test Driven Development.
