Hello,

my name is Thomas Stöcker, I am a photographer and freelance (photo) journalist from Leverkusen.

As a freelance journalist, I see my job not only as making headlines but also as informing about the "how and why". Who is behind it, what are the backgrounds and causes.

It's not just about taking photos but also about telling a story based on true facts.

Journalism should be neutral; you report first and comment later.

This is also the case in sports. You might have sympathies for one club or another, but those stay out of it; only the report about the game counts.

Capturing the right moment, whether it's a goal, a celebration, or another special situation, this challenge motivates me.
