Description

My SRE background is a bit atypical: I started as a full-stack JavaScript developer before transitioning to DevOps, and then to SRE. This dual perspective on code and infrastructure is really useful when I need to diagnose issues quickly or explain a problem to teams that don't speak the same language.

I also founded and managed my own company for 8 years. That changes how you view technical problems: you don't lose sight of what it means when a system goes down.

Today, I work as a freelance consultant on remote assignments, primarily focusing on:

- AWS cloud infrastructure with Terraform

- Monitoring and observability (Datadog, Grafana)

- Kubernetes: setup, tuning, troubleshooting

- SLO / SLI: audit, definition, implementation, and business alignment

I also actively use AI agents in my daily work (mostly Claude Code) to automate parts of infrastructure and review tasks. I know how to configure, orchestrate, and integrate them into real workflows. This is something I can bring to a project if it's suitable.

One thing that might set me apart: I'm equally comfortable with product or marketing teams as I am with developers. Having run a company taught me to talk to everyone and translate technical challenges into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
