I have always had a role outside of a tech team to leverage my expertise for non-tech teams to quickly build MVPs. A sort of free electron while reporting to several C-levels (CEO, CTO, CMO, CPO)

A focus oriented towards growth/marketing. The goal being to help the company grow effectively and rapidly (through time-consuming task automation and tons of web crawlers to collect and centralize various data)

Without needing to wait for the TECH team which is already overloaded with an ambitious roadmap that no longer has room for innovation and several iterations on external MVPs (but a successful MVP is generally integrated into the product later)

And many other diverse and varied projects, but above all FUN. Always up for a challenge, to learn and especially to have a direct impact in a very short time

The secret of a growth engineer is to iterate as quickly as possible and to rely on feedback to correct and improve according to expectations. It is therefore necessary to avoid seeking perfection from the start at the risk of wasting time before the first feedback (which also implies, too much time spent perfecting = fewer iterations)
