Data Engineer and developer for several years, I have worked on Big Data, infrastructure management and non-relational data processing issues.
My expertise focuses on ETL or micro-services type data architectures. I develop in Python, with a strong experience around pyspark for big data processing, ffmpeg for processing media files.
My work historically revolves around distributed systems (HDFS/Spark/Hive or Presto) and relational (MySQL, PostGre) or non-relational (InfluxDB) databases. I also had the opportunity to manage and develop a micro-services infrastructure based on a cluster combining Kubernetes and Docker, versioned around Gitlab CI/CD pipelines.
My experience as a Tech Lead and project manager allows me to interface in larger work teams, technical or not. During this experience, my role was to set up sprints, create roadmaps, allocate FTE resources, lead a team, supervise skills development and popularize technical projects with management teams.
Finally, my role within an infrastructure-oriented team allows me to approach the work of Data Engineer with a DevOps / Data Architect point of view, allowing me to develop while keeping in mind the resource constraints, cost monitoring and data governance.
