About Thomas


Trained in video game development, I had the opportunity to work on numerous projects during my master's degree at ENJMIN. As a programmer, I participated in projects on various levels: gameplay, integration, tool development, playtests, etc..

Since then, I have continued in video games as a Freelance Developer, able to intervene at different stages of production. Through my past experiences, I have mainly been assigned to programming tools, interfaces, and gameplay.

Over the last three years, I participated in the development of the game World of Furries on browser as well as its porting to Steam and Android platforms. On this project, being the sole developer, I participated in both the front-end (Pixi.js, typescript), the back-end (PHP & MySQL API), and the creation of jobs via Gitlab to automate game updates. The porting is being done on Unity (only the "player" part, the "Admin" part remains on the browser and the API changes very little).

In my free time, I mainly develop gameplay prototypes in the browser. The ease of development (with tools like Node, React, etc.) and the ease of sharing allow me to quickly focus on the parts that interest me most. I always have a project in progress, don't hesitate to ask me :)

In general, I consider myself a bit of a "jack of all trades", curious to discover new things (not necessarily related to code), and with a desire to subvert the "classic" uses of tools/software to meet a need (most recently, enabling the programming of "rhythmic" sequences with Arduino, but using Premiere's editing timeline for organization).
