About Thomas

Organization consultant converted to fullstack Ruby-On-Rails developer since 2016.

From my first profession, I have retained the ability to organize myself and successfully complete a project, to quickly appropriate new subjects by developing an overall vision.

I discovered Fullstack Web development in 2016 and have since been working to deepen my technical skills, supporting entrepreneurial projects, or more established companies. I am equally fond of back-end development, front-end and UX design.

My background makes me a developer who will perfectly understand your business. I make it a point of honor to appropriate your need in order to make the best choices in terms of technology, features and UX. You can count on me to challenge you in order to create an application that is truly adapted to your needs.

Ideal missions:
=> creation of Ruby-on-Rails business application (back & front end development)
=> creation of Ruby-on-Rails public application (back & front end development)
=> creation of dynamic showcase sites

Other experiences:
=> teacher at Le Wagon (bootcamp to learn to code)
=> support for the development of numerous MVPs (student projects at Le Wagon)
=> organizational consulting at one of the French leaders in the sector
=> B2C e-commerce and sales on marketplaces (Amazon, Cdiscount, VeePee, etc.)
=> B2B e-commerce

    Polyflame is an importer of smoking accessories and other licensed products whose historical activity consists of distributing its products through chains of physical stores (Gify, Foir'Fouille, etc.) and in tobacco shops.

    Polyflame wanted to set up a B2B e-commerce site to allow its customers to place their orders independently. The site had to take into account all the specificities of B2B commerce and be perfectly interfaced with its ERP, both for the integration of the catalog and for the retrieval of orders.

    During my mission, I carried out the following activities:
    => drafting of specifications and mockups
    => choice of the Web agency in charge of development (Capsens)
    => participation in all scrum meetings during the application development phase to facilitate the translation of business needs into technical specifications and to advise on technical, UX and design choices
    => receipt of the product
    => launch of the application by supporting the sales team and sales administration

    Project to create a marketplace for the sale of second-hand jewelry where the sellers are professional jewelers specializing in second-hand.

    Having worked on this project during my training at Le Wagon, I accompanied the founder of the company for a few months in order to develop the platform. The project ultimately did not come to fruition.

I contacted Thomas a little at the last minute for the implementation of a key "feature" of my app since it was the implementation of online payment in "marketplace" mode. Thomas was of a speed, efficiency and pedagogy foolproof. He advised me and even made us change our minds on certain aspects of the app's features. He was very good at discussing with the team already in place and is very well versed in the use of traditional development tools (git, github, trello etc...) I plan to call on him again very soon. Future customers, you can go there with your eyes closed regarding the skills he mentioned on his profile. Thanks again Thomas!
