Thomas in a few words

Panoragram is a simple iOS app that lets Instagram users share panoramas easily.

Download on the iOS App Store for free:

Panoragram was built fully remotely by a team of 3 friends from Paris, Montreal and Medellin in a small month.

My role was to define the user experience of the app alongside the UI designer, prioritize the different stories of the MVP and synchronize the tasks between the developer, the designer and myself.

I was also in charge of user acquisition and communication (see press below).

Développeur full stack / Product

Post-bootcamp 1 month internship to put into practice all the things I've learned during the Fullstack developer program of Le Wagon.

BBChill is a mobile first web app that tracks baby-related 👶 activities of new parents! 💑 👩‍❤️‍👩 👨‍❤️‍👨
The idea is to keep track of baby's journey by declaring activities such as giving the bath 🛁, feeding 🍼 and you know... 💩 😷
All the activities are linked to a user in order to determine a parity score.

My mission was to turn this simple idea into a fully functional responsive MVP in a month using web technologies such as Javascript, Ruby, Ruby on Rails, HTML/CSS...

I got involved in every steps of the product development process (user stories definitions, UX/UI design...) with an important focus of the technical development itself (from database architecture design and backend development (Ruby/RoR) to mobile first frontend web development).

The goal was to deliver a responsive web app allowing the entrepreneur to start a beta phase that would eventually validate the idea and lead to an investment in an hybrid/native mobile application.

Goal achieved ✅
September 2014 - April 2015

Press & Media

News Republic (sold 60M€)

Développement produit iOS & Android

News Republic is a mobile software development company editing three main apps focused on delivering news: News Republic, Appy Geek & Appy Gamer.
These apps are available in 11 localized editions and provide news to more than 12 million readers.
News Republic powers Blinkfeed for HTC, the homescreen available on all HTC smartphones.

#Product development

I worked on the v5 of News Republic for iOS & Android with a focus on making the app more social and improving the UX.
Prototyped new features for iOS & Android on Axure, Sketch and Pixate.
Wrote PRDs and worked closely with the SCRUM dev team on implementing the features.
Worked on features destined to millions of users through OEM partnerships.

#Release process optimization

Managed the translation of the apps and their own app store content (iOS App Store & Google Play Store).
Optimized the full screenshot workflow. Went from a several days painful process to a several hours process with a better results using Dropbox, Workflow and Screenshots Builder (by Launchkit).
Submitted the apps on the iOS App Store, Google Play store and the Windows Phone store.

Wrote several guides describing the new processes for optimizing time-consuming tasks and trained my replacement.

Wrote an essay on how to optimize the app release cycle of a highly international and multi-devices mobile company and currently writting another one on what are the benefits of implementing social media features in a news app.
