As I find the term data scientist quite vague, I prefer the term machine learning engineer (ML Engineer). I handle projects in their entirety: from R&D and prototyping to production deployment and monitoring.

I have worked in various fields, with technical lead and management responsibilities. In no particular order: insurance fraud detection, video recommendation, matching students with job offers (based on CV and history), etc.

Examples of typical missions I undertake:

You have data, you'd like to use it to develop an AI algorithm, but you don't know which direction to take (or even if you really need AI!). I can guide you in your choices and create a prototype.

You already have a well-defined problem and are looking for scientific expertise to develop an AI algorithm.

You have a prototype algorithm that gives good results, but it needs to be integrated into your stack to run in production.

I am also a trainer in these subjects, both for students and in continuing education.
