Thierry Seray

My mission is to decipher the evolutions of sports practices, identify weak signals, and understand the interactions between sport and society. My approach covers issues of health, mobility, education, tourism, territory... with a forward-looking perspective and strategy definition.

The creation of Codezero represents the logical continuation of Thierry Seray's career. After a mechanical engineering degree focused on the mechanical industry and design offices, he spent two decades in specialized press. First in board sports, which convey a different and innovative culture, then in sailing. His work as a journalist took him around the world. He was also in charge of tests for a motorboat magazine.

In parallel, he undertook other collaborations, including with photo agencies, wrote a book on photography, created a free media on kitesurfing, a blog on board sports and photography, thus acquiring cross-functional experience. At the same time, he became increasingly interested in the cultural and sociological dimension of sport.

In 2014, alongside his journalistic activity, he created the blog Codezero where he published his first analyses. In 2016, Codezero became a marketing strategy agency.

I analyze the interactions between society, leisure, and sport, trends, weak signals, and tipping points. I write documented analyses that serve as a basis for developing strategies for brands, development policies for institutions, or to inspire design teams.
