The Lefebvre Dalloz group is a training company in the legal field. Following the acquisition of the company Barchën, the group recovered the two Rails applications of the startup and integrated them into its environment.

Being the only Ruby developer in the team, my responsibility was to take full responsibility for the 2 Rails applications, in an environment of applications mainly in Java. The business domain of these two applications focused on monitoring online training, taking exams and obtaining learner certifications. And the need focused on the maintenance and evolution of the two applications.

- Major refactoring of legacy code

- Elimination of the bug roadmap

- Workshops to challenge existing features for their refactoring

- Implementation of application monitoring

- Deep reconfiguration of asset pipelines

- Creation of an API to interact with other applications of the group

- Creation of an API to retrieve exam results on external platforms

- Creation of reporting in the form of excel generation

- Creation of new front interfaces for new features

UNAC is one of the main unions of flight personnel of Air France as well as other airlines.

The latter expressed the wish for a new image on the web, through the redesign of their graphic charter, their website, as well as the development of a mobile application.

As an entrepreneur in direct contact with the client, I was in charge of:

- Product Ownership of the various projects,

- Roadmap and technical direction,

- Recruitment of the UX/UI, Graphic, front and backend as well as mobile squad,

- Animation of the team's scrum routines and workshops with the client.

Product ownership:

- Drafting of contractual specifications in workshop with the management team.

- Implementation of tools, processes and project management methods in accordance with the existing operation of the UNAC team,

- Challenge, breakdown and prioritization of requested features

- Animation of Scrum routines with the squad, and demo workshops with UNAC

Technical direction:

- Technical choice of libraries used, monitoring tools, Devops stack, etc...

- Technical choice of technologies used: Rails, React, React Native.

- Fullstack development of the Rails React web application.

Agilab is an electricity and gas offer proposed by Engie.

Initially oriented GDPR, the mission quickly extended to the functional and architectural parts of the application.

New features and maintenance in operational condition

- Maintenance of the code base in production and refactoring of existing code

- Creation of new API endpoints and integration of external services

- Implementation of a new sponsorship system

- As part of the work related to the GDPR, part of my mission was to purge the database according to precise business rules. An audit of the CNIL was carried out shortly after.

DevOps

- Participation in the implementation of a CI/CD Gitlab.

- Dockerization of the application. The challenge was the support of old versions of libraries and language, which required the creation of a Docker Ruby image from scratch.
