I laid out a workbook, a training document on Canva (150 pages) with the company's graphic identity.

During the project, I exchanged extensively with the client. We collaborated dynamically. I enjoyed discovering the training topic and the creative freedom I was given (in choosing certain photos and illustrations).

For 6 months, I decided to launch a project I had dreamed of for a long time: self-publishing my first children's novel. Having completed a master's degree in this field, without finishing the curriculum, and having worked in digital communication, I had all the tools to handle this project from start to finish: research (I even decided to plan a series of several volumes), writing, illustration creation, graphic design (I learned on the go to master new software and lay out my novel), I also designed the cover and managed the press relations with reviewers and launched my author website during this period.

My novel "The Enchanted Library - Vol. 1: The Secrets of Forum Julii" encourages 9-12 year olds to be curious and also aims to contribute to Autism Spectrum Disorder. The book is available in paperback and ebook format since 03/31/26 on Amazon.

The adventures of the two heroes, Gabriel and his sister Emma, are already continuing with a second volume on the theme of chocolate, scheduled for summer 2026.

In 2025, I undertook this very first self-published project. My goal was to apply the learning from Nicolas Roche's "Bestseller Factory" training. Contrary to his teachings, I knew that to complete a project that required me to learn several new skills, I had to like the theme. He actually teaches the opposite, which is to write and offer the book that customers demand and not the one you want to create... I understood this well, but for this first project, I really wanted to do something on a theme I love... I chose the theme of autobiography. Indeed, I am passionate about genealogy, writing, and non-fiction.

Surprise, this first project took the form of a fill-in notebook to start writing one's autobiography, the title is "**My notebook to prepare my autobiography - 90 questions to tell one's story and pass on memories: book to write one's story**". It is available on Amazon.

For this project, I used my skills in graphic design, writing, and project management... I also had to learn to lay out a "simple" notebook (not so simple in reality), for this project, I used Canva, which I already know well. I also had to use the knowledge acquired during the training: create an Amazon KDP account, create one's "book", fill out the form, optimize it as much as possible, etc... I did not try to use the promotional tools because this project was intended to help me "get my hands dirty", I suspected I wouldn't sell many copies to become a "bestseller" as the training aims for (this was not my goal here). However, I have regularly sold this notebook over the past few months, with fairly positive reviews.
