Sylvain Rubenthaler

As an Associate Professor at the University of Nice, I conducted high-level research in applied probability. This allowed me to work in France and abroad with various academic teams. My teaching and research led me to use various digital tools, which gave me a taste for applied problems. In particular, I taught 'machine learning' in M2, which gave me the opportunity to write lecture notes on the subject. In 2019, I created my own company (Math•Innov) to interact with companies under a ministerial agreement (tax reductions for my clients). This led me to apply my knowledge in mathematics and coding in various fields (pharmacokinetics, electromobility, air traffic simulation). Passionate about the outdoors, I manage my university's mountaineering club and regularly introduce colleagues and students to the joys of off-piste skiing in the local mountains.
