I have always been passionate about understanding systems and technologies, especially IT. I like to understand all the layers, all the levels of abstraction of computer systems. And I believe that this knowledge, combined with a touch of creativity, is a key element of innovation or the repurposing of existing systems.

My interests are quite varied and range from low-level system programming to abstract mathematics, including software engineering, algorithms, machine learning, and research. In addition to my professional experience and my thesis on distributed computing in a Big Data context, my experience in these areas also comes from my contributions to free software. In my free time, I am also the treasurer of the hackerspace, the Laboratoire Ouvert Lyonnais.

Concretely, I can get involved from the study of research problems to the development of solutions. I have a preference (without being limited to) for topics around:

- data analysis using data science techniques;

- the use of machine learning techniques for predictive purposes;

- the interaction between classical AI and deep learning;

- distributed computing management;

- performance optimization of algorithms.
