RankQR allows the creation of dynamic and personalized QR codes (logo, colors), modification of redirection after printing, and real-time measurement of each scan, with hosted landing pages (multi-links, vCard, Wi-Fi).

I designed the architecture, developed the back-end, and set up end-to-end operations for scan generation, tracking, and analysis.

Back-end & Data
Django + Django REST Framework, PostgreSQL, Redis (cache, broker), rate limiting. Documented API (drf-spectacular / OpenAPI), custom admin. I18n English by default + French. Asynchronous tasks via Celery + Beat. Custom JWT auth in httpOnly cookies with systematic email code verification, refresh tokens, and Google OAuth. Multi-organization model (Owner / Admin / Member) with scopes, strict filtering by organization, and per-plan quotas. Stripe payments (dynamic checkout, country-specific pricing, invoices, webhooks).

"Scan → Stats" Pipeline
A standalone redirection service serves read-only scans from Redis (no PostgreSQL access on the scan path) and emits hits into a Redis stream. A Celery worker consumes them, enriches them via GeoIP2 MaxMind and user agents, then persists visits in batches. Visitor tracking via cookies. Aggregations with Django ORM (Count, F, Q, TruncHour/Day/Month). Visual QR code generation on the front-end with qr-code-styling.

Infra & Deployment
OVH (VPS) + Cloudflare. Traefik + Docker Compose (TLS Let's Encrypt). Staging & production, each split into 2 independent stacks (main / redirection) to ensure scan path resilience even if the back-end is down. GitHub Actions on merge: SSH deployment, redirection redeployed separately.

Quality & Monitoring
PostHog (errors, events, analytics). Back-end tests (pytest, moto), ruff linting, mypy typing.

Front-end
Next.js 16 + React 19, typed API client (orval), next-intl, shadcn / Radix, maplibre maps & globe.
